Scholarships

Please note that there are several scholarships available through your Union.  The scholarships for 2011 include:

David Ellis Memorial Scholarship

In honor of an 18 year old killed on his 2nd day on the job.  Five $500 scholarships available.

Secondary School Scholarships

There are twenty-one $1000 scholarships available to members, or sons and daughters of members who are attending post-secondary education programs.

Columbia Institute Scholarship

There are twelve $1000 scholarships available to members who are accepted into an accredited post-secondary labour program.

Rudychuk Scholarship

A unique mentoring program for members who are in their 3^rd or final year, or who have graduated from, the USW LDS program.
